Toronto and onwards
I’m getting ready to leave from Bradford, and spend a few hours in Toronto. I’ll visit downtown briefly and then head to Uxbridge to meet Rich Helms, another smart car owner.
From there, we are going to Port Perry for 6 pm:
Haugen’s Chicken & Ribs BBQ
Highways 12 & 7A
media are invited already
Will be there for about 1-2 hours, and then I’m going to Rich’s house for an oil change. (I change my own oil usually…)
Thursday I’m heading to Kingston to do a OTC event at City Hall at 10:30 am. Then I’m travelling to Montreal for the night, visiting with smart people.
Friday am should see 1 or 2 media events in Montreal, and then I’m off to Grand Falls, NB, or possibly Hartland.
Saturday may see me at a One-Tonne Challenge event in Carleton County en route to Charlottetown via Fredericton and Moncton. I’ll spend Saturday night in Charlottetown, and then hopefully do something OTC related Sunday morning before heading to Sydney, where I will only have the evening to see things there - although a radio interview may take place.
Monday morning will see me take the long sailing to Argentia, NF… and then Tuesday morning I’ll reach the end of the road so to speak… completing part 1 of the 100 MPG Challenge in St Johns.
Many thanks go out to John Vissers for fielding calls from media and other interested parties. Rhonda Livingstone has assisted with other One-Tonne Challenge cities that want to host a short event - thanks Rhonda.
