Brockton Point to BC Place
Excerpt from the flyer for this event that yours truly helped to organize:
Join with other smart owners and enthusiasts on Sunday April 3 at the ‘Totem Poles’ parking lot on Stanley Park Drive in Vancouver.
We will be meeting between 10:00 and 10:30 AM, and then once the anticipated fifty cars have all arrived, we will be going on a ‘smartour’ from Brockton Point to BC Place.
The route will take us through downtown via Robson, over the Cambie Bridge to the smart centre on Broadway, then over the Burrard Bridge and along Pacific through Yaletown, and finally to BC Place Stadium. Mercedes-Benz Canada is providing smart owners with parking and passes to the Pacific International Auto Show.
This event is being organized by an independent group of smart owners and enthusiasts.
There was a 50 car turnout at Stanley Park, including Vancouver Mayor Larry Campbell in his smart fortwo coupe - a white and silver passion model with the electric sunroof and jetline wheels.

Global TV covered this event.
