This fuel economy computer can display fuel economy data in your choice of US miles per gallon (MPG), or metric ‘litres per 100 kilometres’ (L/100km). Temperatures can be shown in F or C. The Scangauge II works on nearly all vehicles 1996 and newer that are sold in North America, including the 2008 smart car (gasoline model), and the 2005/2006 smart diesel model sold in Canada.

All units include the X-Gauge ‘Add-A-Gauge’ feature, which allows you to see TRIP data on the GAUGE screen… so for example, you can see your real-time fuel economy, and your current trip fuel economy, side by side…

About 10% of vehicles provide Fuel Pressure (FPR).
About 50% of vehicles provide Manifold-Absolute-Pressure (MAP).
Multiple displacement engines will report incorrect fuel economy and fuel use when some of the cylinders are disabled.
